The 3 Fish & the Big Bad Shark

Once upon a time there lived happy as can be fish that were all sisters. One day their mother said, “I think it’s time for y’all to build your own house. And it’s not because I want you to move out, it’s because you need to grow up!” The first fish said, “Bye, mom.” The second fish said, “Adios, mama.” The third fish said, “So long, mommy.” And the dear mother said, “Bye, bye,” as she was weeping.

“I’m going to build my house out of sand,” said the first fish. “Well, I’m going to build mine out of seaweed,” said the second. The third fish said, “I’m making mine from rocks.

Meanwhile, at the first fish’s house just as she finished building her home she said, “Perfect! “WHAT’S PERFECT?” asked the Big Bad Shark. “Nothing,” said the first fish hiding in coral reef scared. “Ok, then I’ll BLOW your house down” “Really?” said the first fish trying to sound brave. “Yep, I’ll do it RIGHT now!” said the big bad shark. The first fish bubbled, “AAAAAAH!!!!!! I better swim to my sister’s house!” She dashed to her sister’s house with the Big Bad Shark trailing behind her. After she quickly arrived, she yelled to her sister, “SHUT THE DOOR, SHUT THE DOOR!” Just in time the second fish slammed the door. “What’s going on! the second fish asked. “Can’t you see?” hollered the first fish. The second fish said calmly, “It’s not a big deal” Then both the fish saw and felt the Big Bad Shark blow down the second fish’s house. “WOOOOOSH! “It’s a BIG DEAL, It’s a BIG DEAL!” screamed the second fish as the 2 fish splashed speedily over to their sister’s rock house.

“SLAM THE DOOR, SLAM THE DOOR!” they both repeated. The Big Bad Shark shouted, “I can blow your house down, too.” “No, you can’t,” the 3 fish said. If you want to doubt me, I’ll go ahead and blow it down,” growled the Big Bad Shark. WOOOOOSH! Nothing happened. WOOOOOSH! Nothing still happened. “Well, I’m going to find someone else to eat,” said the Big Bad Shark, and he swam away while trying to catch his breath.

The 3 fish huddled. The third fish said, “Together we’ll live, because together we’re stronger.”
